Bryndefaid Stud

We are delighted to announce the safe arrival of Bryndefaid Portia, our only foal for this season ! Portia is Bryndefaid Patsy's second foal (and 2nd Filly), she is by Delami Roulette Red, whom we owned for five years before selling him last season to Julia Kerslake and Claire Grisdale to go under saddle.

Catherine & Cadlan Valley Sandpiper (aka Sammy) !

We have finally branched out in Section B's with Catherine having grown it was time to make a move into something bigger ! We have been very fortunate in finding Sammy as he is known, he is a 7/8th brother to the Royal Welsh Youngstock champion Cadlan Valley Georgette, being out of Stockham Domino who was herself a champion under saddle. Sammy has only just turned 4 and has been broken over the winter by Katy Marriott-Payne, who will be producing him this season. Thanks go to Katy, Jo and the team for a great job not only with Sammy but also with Bryndefaid Pingu over the last two seasons. Already he has qualified for BSPS Winter Champs. Where he was placed in both Novice and Restricted, and at West Midlands his first outdoor event he qualified for the Royal International.

Bryndefaid Amarillo (Alfie), who met with an unfortunate accident whilst being broken last year, has made a great recovery, and thanks once more go to the Vets at the Royal Dick hospital in Edinburgh, and Kim Stewart who has nursed Alfie through his recuperation and back into work, it is hoped to get him out this season.
